As a wedding planner I am constantly being asked about etiquette. My clients are all very savvy and want to follow the traditions and etiquette of the past. I would easily say most of my clients are Modern Brides – classy, sophisticated and hip. We are always working on finding a balance between the grace and tradition of their parents and grandparents weddings while adding their stylish and sophisticated mark on their special day.
Where does etiquette begin? It’s really everyone when planning a wedding and I feel it’s my duty to share some of the stories, questions and issues I have encountered. I am not an expert by any means I’m just starting the conversation on what is proper etiquette? How is etiquette changing and transforming in this modern techy world? How can a modern bride find the balance of the traditions her grandmother kept while planning a wedding in modern society?
